Startup Model Documents

<!–

–>

In June, Startup Estonia and Estonian Private Equity and Venture Capital Association (EstVCA) launched a set of industry-standard legal documents for startups in Estonia, which are made freely available in the hope that they will help to educate the Estonian startup community, speed up foundation, team-building and early stage investment process, and lower the legal costs.

song royalties, bike racks and startup model documents

In June, Fanvestory, a platform for buying in to a piece of music and its future royalties, raised €100k from angel investors to expand to Finland and Sweden; Bikeep, a secure electronic bike rack, announced that they started testing their bike racks in San Francisco’s metro station; and fintech startup Monese rolled out support for Euro accounts, marking the expansion to 19 European countries.

Our team had a good month too with launching the Startup Model Documents together with EstVCA; and introducing the Estonian Startup Visa in Odessa, Ukraine as we are happy to see a lot of interest coming from Ukraine. We were also busy updating the information in the Estonian Startup Database, which we relaunched with a new look in May – check out if your startup is present with the correct info! Oh, and before we forget – we are looking for a Marketing and Communications Assistant (unfortunately, has to be an Estonian-speaker) to join our awesome team so if you know any suitable candidates, do share the opportunity with them!

Enjoy the summer and we’ll see again in a month!
