Beta-i Newsletter Events

This is going to be a great newsletter. I know words. I have the best words. It’s going to be absolutely fantastic.
I could go on like this forever but, I’m assuming you’ve had enough of this talk 🙂
So, let me just come back to my old self, because despite the fact that the world is kind of falling apart, at Beta-i, we’re working on holding it together. And here’s how:
We want to give fintech startups a big push.
At SIBSPayForward, our new accelerator, startups will get to work closely withSIBS, a leading fintech company in Europe which tracks over 1 billion financial operations a yearApplications close in 4 daysso, if you know of any promising startup in fintech let me know.
Also on acceleration… Protecting, the accelerator we’re doing with Fidelidade and Fosun, is back! Applications opened this morning and we’re now looking for startups in insurancehealthfintech and prevention. The winners of this program will get to go on a roadshow to China to meet some of the world’s top investors.
And since we’re talking about travelling around the world, we have also partnered with the Free Electrons, the first global energy accelerator. This program will be connecting the world’s most promising startups with leading utility companies to co-create the future of energy. Find out more about this right here.
Another cool opportunity for startups and entrepreneurs is the Startupreneurs initiative from the European Commission
Take this as the Erasmus for entrepreneurs, where entrepreneurs can work in a different country and expand their business internationally. If you’re interested in going abroad or receiving someone in your country make sure you apply.
On news from our startups we have some pretty impressive updates.
Uniplaces, the airbnb for student accomodation, got to see its founders on Forbes 30 under 30 list. Congrats MiguelBen andMariano.
While Attentive, a startup which created a tool to give sales teams real time information on their leads, is now moving to the US to join Techstars, one of the top accelerators in the world. Good luck and see you soon.
And this is it for now. Thanks for reading my “best words”.
From the one and only Almighty Duchess of Content whose dog is so passionate about interior design that he created this masterpiece over the weekend.
